War of the Worlds
Yesterday afternoon we were with friends and their babies in a center of activities for children. It 's a wonderful center with several rooms where you can make all kinds of activities: painting, drawing, construction, costumes, working with clay and wood, make their own stuffed animals, etc..
Children are free to move from one room to another as and when they want and get help if they want, the leaders available. One child ran from one activity to another with the joy of a thirsty man who discovered pools of water in the desert.
The event theme was "China." Entrance has received a huge dragon of paper followed by a colorful wooden puzzle with all the provinces of China to put in place.
Next to the cafe / bar, there was a whole room full of toys of Chinese wood checkers, puzzles crocodiles, monkeys, elephants and kites. One son was ecstatic. It 'the only family that loves to do puzzles. For him there's nothing like finally find the piece that fits in perfectly into the gap. I do not know who took this passion, but it is a pleasure to see him concentrate on study forms. And there almost always guesses!
In a corner of the room, was recreated a Chinese garden with lots of bonsai plants. In the garden a gentle flowing river that flows into a tranquil lake on which float two fishing boats of clay. Around the pond, the green meadow, there are statues of monks who read or write, and various temples all colored blue and white. Two white cranes complete the picture.
The kingdom of peace.
Only Child has decided that this was his favorite game.
I had to take a boat and he the other.
After that he settled all the temples and cranes from his side of the table and then he said: "These are all my robot. Now beat it because you shoot at: boom, boom, boom. I got you! You have to fall in the lake and then splash up to the ceiling. Bum, bum, bum. "
Ah, there's nothing like a beautiful Zen garden to relax!
